Hej och välkommen till fortsättningen av min hälsoresa från solkusten. Jag började för två inlägg sedan att berätta om alla “hälso-span” jag gjorde i Malaga för det var där jag landade hos min barndomsvän Malin. Jag fortsätter här och det första lilla stället jag vill nämna är Zumoteka, alltså som apoteka fast med frukt – zumoteka.
Zumoteka hittade jag blanda alla små gränder i Gamla stan påväg mot ett matställe som heter Noviembre, som jag googlat fram. Mer om Noviembre och deras magiska ekologiska mat i ett annat inlägg. Nu till detta lilla hål i vägen – Zumoteka.
Spanien och solkusten är ju bl.a. känt för den konstanta solen som alltid lyser (i love it) så färsk frukt finns det ju över allt, men faktiskt inte så många renodlade juicebarer, som Zumoteka vilket är lite märkligt. Zumoteka är en av få juice barer i centro historico, som gamla stan heter på spanska. Att jag lyckades hitta denna lilla bar var nog meant to be.
Jag beställde en stor kokosnöt och drack upp den innan jag ens hann lämna stället. Så klart nördade jag in mig med personalen på diverse smaker och ingredienser samt ställde en miljon frågor ang råvarorna de använder. Alla är så trevliga i Spanien och det slutar alltid med att jag står och pratar i all evighet.
Hur som, som du ser på bilderna så serverar Zumoteka en uppsjö av färska frukt juicer, kokosnötter, smoothies, färsk frukt to-go samt smaksatt vatten. Massor av valmöjligheter. Alltså alla dessa färger, to die for!

Hello and welcome to the continuation of my health trip from the gold coast of Spain. I started two posts ago telling you about all the “healthy places” I visited in Malaga. I’m going to continue here and the first little place I want to mention is Zumoteka, a pharmacy with fruit or that is at least what they are calling themselves. I found Zumoteka among all the little alleys in the Old Town heading towards a place called Noviembre. More about Noviembre and their magic organic food in another post. Now to this little hole in the wall – Zumoteka.
Spain and the gold coast are among other things known for the constant sun that always shines (in love it), so fresh fruit is everywhere, but not so many pure juice bars as Zumoteka exists in Malaga, which is a little strange. Zumoteka is one of the few juice bars in Centro Historico, that the old town is called in Spanish. That I managed to find this little bar was probably meant to be.
I ordered a large coconut and drank it before I even left the place. Instead, I found myself chitchatting with the staff about various tastes, ingredients and I asked a million questions about the fruits they use. Everyone is so nice in Spain, and I always end up talking forever.
Zumoteka serves fresh fruit juices, coconuts, smoothies, fresh fruit to-go as well as flavored water. As you can see in the pictures, there is a large range of choices. All these colors in the pic, two die for!
In order to avoid this post being so long, I’m checking out for now. There are several more magic health places in Malaga that I will show you in my next posts.
